The extension stores product settings, session information and saved analyses locally in Chrome. If you sign in, selected saved-deal information can be synchronised to your PriceVerdict account.
Listing import occurs only when you initiate it. PriceVerdict may temporarily access the active tab's URL, title and permitted visible property-listing content to populate deal fields. On restricted portals, PriceVerdict uses guided copy and paste. Clipboard text is read only during the user-initiated import workflow. The extension does not collect your general browsing history, monitor keystrokes or run advertising trackers.
We process information where necessary to provide the service or take steps you request before providing it (contract); to operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve PriceVerdict in ways that do not override your rights (legitimate interests); to meet accounting, tax, legal and regulatory obligations (legal obligation); and, where required, with your consent.
PriceVerdict does not use your data to make lending or creditworthiness decisions. Its property outputs are modelling results based on the assumptions entered and are not personal financial advice, valuations or lending decisions.
We share information only where needed to operate PriceVerdict, comply with law, protect legal rights, or complete a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. Current service providers include:
These providers process information under their own service terms and privacy commitments. Some processing may occur outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires it, we use an approved transfer mechanism or rely on another lawful safeguard.
Payment details are entered on Stripe-hosted pages. Stripe provides PriceVerdict with identifiers and subscription/payment status needed to activate and manage Pro access. We do not receive or store your full card number or card security code.
We use HTTPS, access controls, per-user database restrictions and service-side billing controls. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password confidential and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
Local extension data remains on the Chrome profile until you delete it, clear extension storage or remove the extension. Cloud data remains associated with your account until deleted under the service's account-closure process, subject to limited backup rotation and records we must retain by law.
We keep account and saved-deal data while your account is active and for the period reasonably needed to complete deletion, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and maintain backup integrity. Subscription and accounting records may be retained for up to six years after the relevant financial period. Support records are normally retained for up to two years. Security and operational logs are retained for a limited period appropriate to their purpose. We may retain data longer where required by law or for an active legal claim.
You can use core local features without cloud synchronisation, subject to the applicable plan limits. You can delete saved deals in the extension, sign out, clear local extension data through Chrome, or contact us about account closure.
Under UK data-protection law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict personal data, object to certain processing and receive portable data. Rights can be subject to legal conditions and exemptions. Email hello@priceverdict.uk to make a request. We may need to verify your identity.
You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/. Please contact us first if you would like us to try to resolve the issue.
PriceVerdict is intended for adults assessing property investments and is not directed to children.
We may update this notice when the service, providers or legal requirements change. The latest version and update date will be published on this page. If a change materially affects how existing user data is used, we will provide an appropriate notice.
